Corrosion resistance comparable to matching low-carbon and stabilized austenitic 18/8 CrNi(N) steels. The wire exhibits very good wetting properties, with excellent weld metal toughness down to -196°C. Application temperature up to 350°C.

Good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chlorine and hydrogen sulfide containing environments. High Cr and Mo contents provide resistance to pitting corrosion. For joining and surface work with matching and similar austenitic steels and cast steels. Attention should be paid to the sensitivity to embrittlement of the parent metal.
